Geisha King Arthur
A Masterpiece of Nature – Floral, Sweet & Unique
A Masterpiece of Nature – Floral, Sweet & Unique
General Information
This exceptional Geisha comes from the Puerto Arturo farm in Támesis, Antioquia (Colombia).
At a proud altitude of 1,900 meters, the trees grow in a unique terroir fed by numerous natural mineral water springs. This special environment gives the coffee its extraordinary vitality and purity.
King Arthur is a microlot that undergoes a highly complex process. The cherries are hand-picked at optimal sugar content.
This is followed by a 90-hour cherry fermentation, pulping, and another 90-hour fermentation in the mucilage.
Subsequently, the coffee dries using the honey process on African raised beds. The result is an iconic profile: floral, sweet, and complex.
The producer Elkin Arcila pursues a regenerative approach that he lovingly calls "Ruana and Sombrero":
Elkin Arcila is not only an innovative coffee producer, but also a visionary for his community. He founded the first barista school for children in Támesis to instill pride and expertise in specialty coffee in the next generation. By purchasing this coffee, we directly support this social project and sustainable, regenerative agriculture.
