The Origin

The story of this coffee began in 1967 when Isidro Pereira laid the foundation for today's Fazenda IP. In the heart of the traditional Carmo de Minas region, father and son joined forces from 1972 onwards to manage the farm together.

Through a visionary expansion plan in 1974, the agricultural area grew by over 500%, which laid the groundwork for today's production of outstanding specialty coffee.

Processing & Harvesting

Quality at Fazenda IP is defined by technological innovation: decades after its founding, Luiz Paulo invested in modern pulping machines to perfect new processing methods.

The Yellow Bourbon is processed using the Pulped Natural method, which highlights the farm's expertise in producing specialty coffees. The result is an iconic profile: milk chocolatey, caramel, and velvety.

The Philosophy

For Luiz Paulo, the constant pursuit of innovation is mandatory, as sustainable farm operation is now inextricably linked to excellent cup quality.

His philosophy is based on the understanding that quality can only be achieved through the entire team. Therefore, he offers his staff targeted guidance on quality processes and promotes a deep awareness of the importance of each individual work step.

Why We Chose This Coffee

Why do we love this coffee? Because behind its profile lies a story of true appreciation. At Fazenda IP, quality is teamwork: Luiz Paulo has implemented a bonus system that directly rewards special care in post-harvest processing. If a coffee shines in the cupping, every single employee benefits from it. A coffee that not only captivates with notes of caramel and almond, but also with fair cooperation.
