The Origin -

The Cerrado Mineiro Plateau

The origin of this premium coffee lies in one of Brazil's most demanding growing regions: the Cerrado Mineiro. At an altitude of 1,100 to 1,200 meters, the plantations thrive on mineral-rich soils. This is not an anonymous large-scale operation, but rather the Baracat Sanchez family, who have been cultivating their passion for coffee farming for four generations. Today, agricultural engineer Maria Gabriela Baracat Sanchez leads the family legacy into the future with great dedication and expertise.

Preparation & Harvesting

This coffee is prepared using the classic "natural" process, perfected by the Baracat Sanchez family over generations. After the careful harvest of the Red Catuai cherries on the high plateau, the fruits, including their pulp, are sun-dried. This unwashed process preserves the natural sweetness of the cherry. Under the strict supervision of agricultural engineer Maria Gabriela, an ethically sound specialty coffee is produced, captivating with its wonderfully smooth texture and pronounced aromas of milk chocolate, cocoa, and subtle dried fruits.

The Philosophy

Where Science Meets Passion

The philosophy of the Baracat Sanchez family proves that tradition and progress are not mutually exclusive. For four generations, the family has cultivated coffee in Cerrado Mineiro, never losing sight of the foundations laid by their great-grandfathers. Under the leadership of Maria Gabriela, sustainability is lived here scientifically and humanely: through targeted environmental protection, absolute transparency, and a deep sense of responsibility for the entire team on the plantation. Their daily goal is continuous improvement to produce coffees that set new standards in terms of fairness and taste

Why We Chose This Coffee

The uncompromising commitment to quality of the Baracat Sanchez family deeply impressed us. On their farm, they leave nothing to chance:

With their own strict specialty program, they divide the harvests into exclusive quality grades.

The combination of the *Red Catuai* variety and the sun-dried *Natural* processing brings a magnificent cleanliness to the cup.
